Figuring out reality becomes less of a guiding force than figuring out if it’s worth going through a series of physical and mental trials for an unclear outcome. Yet what really puts Salazar’s performance over the top is how she’s able to show Lisa making that exact calculus for herself at every new turn. This isn’t a show that goes for a bunch of cheap “Is this actually happening or only inside her head” fakeouts. As those consequences start to pile up, they get more visceral and start to leave their own trail of destruction. While there’s not as much parallel time-hopping here, Lisa is also dogged by events from her past that she can’t shake. ![]() Of course anonymous motorcycle riders are going to trail around the city. Of course plants are going to crop up in unexpected places. Even as the story starts to veer from a recognizable form of sunny exterior Los Angeles, it’s all presented with a certain kind of inevitability. ![]() Like the odd whispers in the forest starting to take hold of the surviving members of the soccer team in the other show, Lisa’s blend of determination, revenge-seeking, and confidence in her artistic ability means that she questions less and less as things get stranger and stranger. #Cherry flavor fullBy the time the enigmatic Boro (Catherine Keener) arrives at a fancy house party, clad in a full winter coat and cradling a cat in her arms, it’s clear that “Brand New Cherry Flavor” is headed in some different directions. What could easily play out as a self-contained story about the life of a Hollywood newcomer instead taps into something much weirder and more expansive. ![]() #VMWARE FUSION MAC M1 SUPPORT FOR MAC#Parallels 8 for Mac currently sells for $55 on Amazon, while VMware Fusion 5 is available for as low as $46.99.Īrs put Parallels 8 against VMware Fusion this week and found there is not much of a contest between the two virtualization powerhouses. We recommend checking out MacTech’s lengthy analysis. If you include all the tests where Parallels was at least 5% faster, as well as the balance of the 3DMark06 graphics tests, Parallels increased the lead further. Again, if you count up the general tests (including the top 3D graphics scores), Parallels won 56% of the tests by 10% or more. In the vast majority of our overall tests, Parallels Desktop 8 won. The conclusion: Parallels Desktop 8 won on the majority of general tests and 62 percent of 3D graphics tests. MacTech put the two apps to the test in a number of areas including launching various OSes, application performance, 3D graphics tests, Retina Support, and much more. We have seen Parallels 8 come out on top in benchmarks from previous reports, but this is by far the most comprehensive comparison. MacTech Magazine, which recently announced its upcoming MacTech BootCamp II, today looked at two of the most popular virtualization products for Mac with an in-depth benchmarking analysis of the most recent versions of Parallels Desktop 8 and VMware Fusion 5. Generally Parallels is geared toward single users and has better performance whereas VMware is geared toward larger enterprise and folks who also work on PCs. We’ll have a full review of both apps shortly. #VMWARE FUSION MAC M1 SUPPORT FULL VERSION#The full version will be available tomorrow. The announcement comes just days after Parallels announced the release of Parallels Desktop 9, which is currently available as an upgrade. ![]() ![]() VMware Fusion 6 is available exclusively on the VMware Online Store for $59.99 or $49.99 for VMware Fusion 4 or 5 upgraders.

![]() ![]() Here’s a drill to give you the feel of the proper shoulder turn on your backswing. Without this room, golfers will inevitably “come over the top” and swing the club to the left of the target, thus causing the ball to slice. Making the proper shoulder turn with the correct spine angle gives the golf the necessary room to “drop” the club to the inside as they start their downswing. Golfers are often astonished at their shoulder turns when they see their swings on video or in 3D. Blend this motion in to one smooth back swing and you are on your way to setting up the draw downswing. As the club head approaches waist high, allow your wrists to hinge and right arm to fold as you continue to turn (Photo 6). (Photo 5) While keeping the club in your belly button for the first few feet, make a backswing with the feeling of how your turn and your upper arms stay connected to your ribs/chest. Keeping your normal set-up posture, bring the club up so that the butt end of the grip is touching your belly button and your arms are extended normally you will grip the club just below the grip on the shaft. Set up as if you are going to hit a normal shot. You can also learn to swing it back on-plane with the following drill. Make this motion several times and then try to make the same motion with your normal grip.ģ. This is your desired backswing arm plane. (Photo 3) Make a backswing and feel the natural plane you swing the club and your left arm on (Photo 4). Your right palm should be facing up and toward the target, not down and toward you. Starting at your normal address position, take your right hand and grasp your left wrist. This will be your desired backswing position. After making swing cross-handed, try to achieve the same position with your normal grip. Your arms will swing to the natural height, plane and length that fits you. Your right elbow should feel fairly low and close to your body, no more than 3 to 4 inches away from your rib cage. Make backswings and feel how your right elbow folds, your left wrist stays flat and you have lots of angle in the back of your right wrist at the top of the backswing (Photo 2). Grip a club cross-handed (Photo 1) or with your left hand lower than your right (for a right handed golfer).Instead, make a motion that is easier to repeat and sets you up to achieve a more consistent impact position. Relying on timing to achieve a consistent impact position is nearly impossible when the ball is only on the clubface for approximately. Most amateurs have backswings that are off plane and cause issue on the downswing and, most importantly, cause compensations at impact. Starting your backswing the correct way and having it reach a position at the top that sets you up for a good downswing is an important part of striking the ball consistently. Do these drills and say goodbye to half your golf course’s hazards … and hello to the fairway. #No two ways to slice it how to#In this extensive step-by-step lesson, PGA professional Dale Abraham - director of instruction at Bighorn Golf Club in Palm Desert, California, during the winter months and an instructor in Telluride, Colorado, during the summer - shows how to rebuild your swing into a draw-producing machine from address through follow-through and stop your slice. Do certain things, especially in the downswing, and you’re guaranteed to produce that dreaded banana ball. ![]() It’s an insidious condition resulting from certain swing flaws that, through the decades, haven’t changed. He even walked away from the final potential deal when Marcus found a buyer for the business. The owner of the business (forgot his name) was just an unreliable jerk. Lilia was 100% in the right: why was the girlfriend even there when she wasn't part of the business? Spouses could conceivably have a vested interest, but a girlfriend? I expected Marcus to call out that aspect or say something like "Put her on the payroll, then she's an employee."īottom line for me for this episode was that it was an incredibly unsatisfying ending. I 100% agree! I just watched this episode and I really didn't understand how poorly in some ways Marcus just didn't operate from a business perspective. ![]() ![]() Set the laser at a height that prevents the beam from shining directly into people's eyes.
